Annapolis, Maryland is located within a network of parallel rivers all feeding into the Chesapeake Bay, which is home to the famous Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Downtown Annapolis is known for the historic, rustic, and nautical style it has maintained over the years. Home to the United States Naval Academy and at one point the Capital of the United States, it has been a take-off and landing point for many people and events throughout history. Many alleyways and roads such as Main Street are still brick paved and designed for pedestrian traffic. A main hangout for locals is Ego Alley where you can take in the breathtaking waterfront view as you watch boats come in and out of the Severn River.
